Income Protection Insurance (IPT) covers Leisure Time Illness, Tac Top-Up, Workcover Top-Up And Trauma.

The IPT program which is administered by Incolink, provides benefits in the event of major trauma (Death or Total and Permanent Disablement) arising from a workplace (Workcover) accident.  There are also weekly benefits  for illnesses that occur in your leisure time and top up benefits for TAC claims where the accident occurred while in direct travel between home and work or vice a versa and Workcover top up benefits.

This is only available where the employer pays the weekly premium on the employees behalf.
