Incolink offers a wide range of counselling and referral services for all members throughout Victoria.
Financial Rights Counselling
Incolink’s Financial Rights Counselling Service provides free and confidential debt crisis counselling for members. They understand the construction industry and the problems faced by building workers and their families. They can provide a range of options, strategies and advice including dealing with home and car repossessions, credit card debts, bankruptcy and its options, the Banking and Financial Ombudsman and supporting members in regard to their rights in all financial transactions.

Personal Counselling and Chaplaincy
Incolink's Building Industry Chaplaincy Service offers members free confidential counselling for all types of personal problems, whether work or home-related. Personal problems, such as depression, bereavement, alcohol and drug use or family and workplace-related conflicts, can affect your ability to work safely and efficiently. An Incolink chaplain or counsellor will visit you at your workplace or at home, or is available at Incolink’s offices.

Drugs and Alcohol Programs
Incolink's Drug and Alcohol Officer provides information and assistance to members, family and employers on the harm caused by the misuse of alcohol and other drugs. Incolink's Drug and Alcohol Officer also provides a confidential and impartial counselling and referral service where required.

Apprentice Support Officer
Incolink's Apprentice Support Officer offers a free confidential support and referral service to apprentices and young workers to ensure they are equipped to deal with workplace, trade school and personal pressures and difficulties. This includes information on issues like drug and alcohol abuse and suicide prevention. Employers can also use the service where apprentices or young workers are giving them cause for concern.

Terminal Illness Support
Incolink’s Terminal Illness Support program provides support and assistance for members and their families who have been diagnosed with a terminal or life-threatening illness. Experienced support workers and counsellors are available to help members and their families understand the benefits and insurances provided by Incolink and other funds such as Cbus and Co-Invest, as well as services in the wider community.
Counsellors offer support and practical assistance to members experiencing loss and grief and to their families at times of crisis or stress. Rob Dawson can be contacted through Incolink's Member Services Department on 03 9668 3068 to arrange site visits and home visits.
